We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our Emergency Department. This permanent, part-time opportunity is ideal for both early-career nurses looking to build strong clinical foundations and experienced RPNs seeking balance, stability, and purpose in their practice.

Why You’ll Love Working at WNGH

  • Permanent position offering stability and work-life balance
  • Supportive, team-oriented culture where nurses are valued and heard
  • Hands-on nursing practice with opportunities to build strong patient relationships
  • Comprehensive pension plan to support your long-term financial future
  • Welcoming environment for new and early-career nurses, including mentorship and learning opportunities

Your Impact as an RPN

  • Monitoring, assessing, and documenting patient conditions and vital signs
  • Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes
  • Educating patients and families on care plans, health management, and discharge preparation
  • Building strong therapeutic relationships through clear communication and empathy
  • Applying clinical skills across a range of nursing procedures
  • Participating in ongoing learning and professional development

What You Bring

  • Valid BCLS certification
  • Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to safe, patient-focused care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
