Role overview

Superior Gas Liquids is seeking an experienced and highly analytical professional with strong data problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and experience building models to join our team as a Logistics Analyst. In this role, you will support ad hoc freight and volume analysis, customs reporting, and the preparation, maintenance, and distribution of daily rail and truck movement reports. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to make a meaningful contribution to our NGL logistics team.

What you’ll do:

Support the development of business flows and processes for key stakeholders.
Develop accurate models to support business viability and operational decision-making.

Collaborate with the commercial scheduling team to capture, analyze, and report monthly scorecard results.

Perform accurate data entry and maintain data integrity across reporting systems.

Prepare and submit customs reporting in a timely and accurate manner.

Monitor and analyze freight lanes, support RFP activities, and contribute to economic analysis for business development initiatives.

Build and maintain comprehensive reports using advanced data management tools and techniques to support presentations and recommendations for senior management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting, sales, supply, and logistics, to support seamless coordination and efficient operations.

What you bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
Two or more years of experience in the energy industry is preferred, with a strong focus on data management and midstream analytics.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and forecasting techniques.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Hands-on experience building complex models using multiple data sources and databases.
Experience with RightAngle or other ETRM systems is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
Familiarity with supply chain optimization and logistics management is considered an asset.

Salary:

$69,300 – $86,550 annually (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).
