VISION

SCOPE
The Mental Health Coordinator provides specialized mental health assessment, treatment services, counselling supports, training, and capacity building for Indigenous women and their families. The position is responsible for supporting community members experiencing mental health and addictions concerns through culturally safe, trauma-informed, and client-centred approaches.
The Mental Health Coordinator provides community development, consultation, coordination of educational and informational sessions, and facilitates access to mental health, addictions, traditional healing, and cultural supports. The position delivers holistic approaches that meet the needs of Indigenous women and their families within an Indigenous Gender-Based Analysis and trauma-informed framework to support mental wellness and healing.

The full salary range for this role is $56,400- $69,405 ONWA conducts annual performance reviews, and employees may be eligible for salary adjustments based on performance outcomes and available funding.
