Operations & Project Coordinator (Health & Dental Transformation)
Support Health & Dental Transformation initiatives within the insurance sector by contributing to project deliverables, testing activities, project documentation, and operational support. This hybrid opportunity in Halifax offers the chance to collaborate across teams during a period of organizational change and operating model evolution.

What is in it for you:
• Salaried: $30-34 per hour.
• Incorporated Business Rate: $35-40 per hour.
• 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
• Hybrid schedule, 37.5-hour work week.

Responsibilities:
• Support project execution by tracking deliverables, timelines, and key milestones.
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test execution, defect tracking, and validation of results.
• Document and maintain business processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
• Support change management and organizational readiness initiatives for new processes and client services.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to manage project dependencies and ensure alignment across teams.
• Assist in preparing project materials, status updates, and reporting for leadership.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of optimized workflows.
• Handle sensitive customer issues while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Provide clear and detailed verbal and written communication regarding inquiry resolution.
• Identify customer needs, conduct research, and provide appropriate solutions or alternatives.
• Meet individual and team quality, productivity, and service level targets.
• Apply premium payments and deposits accurately to policies.
• Facilitate updates to payment methods, including banking information and pre-authorized payments.
• Process financial transactions, including wire transfers, refunds, suspense clearing, premium offsets, and chargebacks.
• Respond to billing and policy change inquiries in a timely manner.
• Conduct detailed research and maintain accurate policy histories to support issue resolution.

What you will need to succeed:
• Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in business analysis, operations support, project coordination, or a related field.
• Project Management certification is considered an asset.
• Strong project coordination and execution skills.
• Experience supporting business operations.
• Experience developing and maintaining process documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to operational excellence.
• Strong analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to learn new processes quickly and adapt in a changing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Experience in Health and Dental Insurance is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of Power BI and SQL is considered an asset.
• Bilingual in English and French is considered an asset to support inquiry resolution, stakeholder communication, and operational activities in both official languages.
