TIG Welder (Stainless Steel) - Food & Pharmaceutical Equipment

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our team specializing in stainless steel fabrication for the food and pharmaceutical industries. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience welding stainless steel components and equipment while maintaining the highest standards of quality, precision, and sanitary requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components, assemblies, and equipment.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair stainless steel structures and process equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.
• Ensure welds meet sanitary standards required for food and pharmaceutical applications.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and compliance with specifications.
• Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all workplace health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of TIG welding experience.
• Strong experience welding stainless steel.
• Previous experience in food processing, pharmaceutical, or sanitary manufacturing environments is required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and workmanship.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• CWB certification is an asset.
• Experience in fabricating process equipment, conveyors, tanks, piping, or custom stainless steel machinery.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment serving food and pharmaceutical clients.
