Job Description:The Sexual Health Nurse is an advanced clinical practice nurse in the study of Sexual Health and Wellness. The Sexual Health Nurse requires skill in collaborative multidisciplinary consultation with regional physicians, MHO's and other provincial health organizations - NITHA/FINHB. The position will ensure seamless coordination of testing, treatment protocols, contact tracing and reporting.

Experience

Experience with marginalized populations in a health-related field
Minimum of two (2) years recent related nursing experience is required
Nursing experience in STI or blood borne pathogens in clinical/community setting

Education

Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate (TDG)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Nursing diploma is acceptable
