Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead building operations for its Winnipeg commercial portfolio. Reporting directly to the National Director, Operations, you'll step into a true leadership role overseeing a team while driving operational excellence across the region.

As Operations Supervisor, you'll be the technical leader for the Winnipeg portfolio. You'll work alongside property management while maintaining ownership of building operations, helping to establish priorities, mentoring the team, and ensuring the portfolio operates in accordance with the company’s national standards.
Your Role
Reporting to the National Director, Operations, you'll serve as the technical advisor for the Winnipeg portfolio, helping to determine what work should be completed, when it should be completed, and how it should be executed. Rather than simply responding to building issues, you'll investigate root causes, evaluate repair options, obtain competitive vendor pricing and provide clear recommendations that support sound operational and capital investment decisions.
You'll work closely with property management to prioritize repairs, develop phased maintenance strategies, prepare scopes of work, obtain and evaluate contractor quotations, oversee vendors and support capital projects from planning through execution. Your ability to balance operational priorities, budget constraints, and long-term asset performance will be critical to the portfolio's success.
You'll also supervise a team, ensuring work is prioritized appropriately, and technical resources are focused on preventative maintenance, building performance and tenant service.

Compensation
Expected base salary of $95,000 to $105,000 per year. This role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is not guaranteed and may vary based on individual performance.
