Role overview

Vancouver Whitecaps FC is seeking a dynamic and proactive Facility Assistant to support the daily operations of our world-class training facility at the National Soccer Development Centre (NSDC). This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment for athletes, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the NSDC building, grounds, and equipment are clean, well-maintained, and in good working order.
Support the Coordinator, Facilities in all aspects of facility operations.
Identify and address recurring maintenance and repair issues.
Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and complete routine logs and reports.
Perform driving duties as required.
Demonstrate flexibility and initiative to support various additional operational tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
A valid and clean BC driver’s license.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This is an on-site role based in Vancouver, BC Canada.
