Our team at UBC Sauder's Office of Student Academic Services (OSAS) and Robert H. Lee Graduate School (RHL) oversees the student academic journey, from orientation to graduation, for a diverse portfolio of graduate, undergraduate, and diploma programs. The Manager, Global Learning provides operational and strategic leadership and is responsible for developing, managing, marketing, and assessing undergraduate Study Abroad and Exchange (SAE) and International Programs, including the Vancouver Summer Program (VSP), the UBC Sauder Social Entrepreneurship (SSE) and LIFT programs, the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) undergraduate programs, and the undergraduate Dual Degrees.
The Manager works closely with other Program Managers to create, implement, manage and evaluate programs and initiatives that increase student engagement and satisfaction and support student success.

Makes critical decisions to design, manage, and deliver programs and services, ensuring the achievement of school-specific student experience objectives. The quality of programs and services directly depends on these decisions. Manages relationships with students, employees and faculty and must balance the objectives of various stakeholders with conflicting interests. Decisions must align with the goals and vision of UBC Sauder and UBC.
Decisions made by this tole impact academic program quality and student management effectiveness. Poor decisions can harm the marketability and reputation of UBC Sauder as well as the integrity of BCom program. Errors and failure to meet student expectations may damage the school's image and result in losing exceptional students to competitor schools. Sound decisions are crucial for maintaining the school's confidence, raising global ranking and reputation, accessing resources, and ensuring long-term success.
Supervision Received
Works with considerable autonomy under the general direction of the Director, Global and Integrated Learning. Work is reviewed in terms of soundness of judgement and conformity with university policies and guidelines.
Supervision Given
Hires, trains, disciplines, provides ongoing feedback and manages the day-to-day activities of student, support and temporary employees of the Student Experience Team.
Minimum Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline. Minimum of three to four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in the design and delivery of education programs is preferred.

Proficiency using common office software.
