Parts Advisor / Shop Controller – Kingston, ON | Full Time | Hiring Now

Jim Thompson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat is a high-volume Stellantis dealership in Kingston, Ontario, and part of the Heighton Auto Group. We’re growing our used vehicle department and we need a sharp, organized Parts Advisor / Shop Controller to keep our internal shop running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Source OEM, aftermarket, and recycled parts for our safety inspection technicians

• Dispatch and manage technician work orders to maximize shop productivity

• Order, track, and coordinate parts deliveries from vendors and suppliers

• Maintain parts inventory accuracy and process returns where applicable

• Communicate repair status updates to the Used Car and Service managers

• Coordinate sublet repairs when required

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a dealership parts department, service department, or as a shop controller

• Familiarity with a dealership management system (Reynolds, CDK, PBS, or Dealertrack is an asset)

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and vendor negotiation abilities

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
