Administrator / Office Manager – Retail Operations
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrator / Office Manager to support our growing retail business across Atlantic Canada under trading name Highmart. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day office operations at our Oakville warehouse and providing back-office support for multiple retail store locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative and office management functions.
- Provide back-office support for retail store operations.
- Coordinate communications between stores and head office.
- Manage scheduling, documentation, records, and filing systems.
- Assist with payroll, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and data entry.
- Monitor inventory reports and support operational processes.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence as required.
- Support HR administration, employee onboarding, and staff records.
- Ensure office procedures are efficient and well organized.
- Assist management with special projects and operational initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in office administration, office management, or retail operations support.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and business software systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Experience supporting multi-location retail operations is an asset.
