Job Description:The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) supports staff in the South-West 6 Integrated Rural Health Network by delivering education to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care and efficient system flow. Working under the Acute Care Program Manager and collaborating with leaders, the CNE assesses learning needs, plans and evaluates educational programs, and applies adult learning principles. The role provides leadership, real-time clinical support, and expert guidance to nursing staff, promotes evidence-based practice, and fosters continuous professional development and a supportive learning environment across all shifts.

Experience

  • Requires experience in planning, program design, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Requires experience in program/resource development related to needs assessment.
  • Three years' experience related to the clinical area within the past five years
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal skills
  • Experience in teaching adults, facilitation skills, and leading group activities
  • Experience using electronic assessment tools will be considered an asset.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
