Qualifications and Experience

  • This position is located in Sioux Lookout near Thunder Bay, Ontario
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • BCLS current certification
  • Fetal Health Surveillance course completion
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)-current certification
  • EKG/Dysrhythmia interpretation course/skill an asset.
  • Maternal-Newborn Nursing Certification-preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year labour and delivery experience preferred.
  • Post-partum experience care of mother and baby until discharge preferred.

Job Duties

  • IV therapy initiation and maintenance (parenteral therapy)

  • Good working knowledge of Electronic Documentation
  • Demonstrated commitment to, and understanding of the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
