Qualifications and Experience

This position is located in Sioux Lookout near Thunder Bay, Ontario
Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
BCLS current certification
Fetal Health Surveillance course completion
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)-current certification
EKG/Dysrhythmia interpretation course/skill an asset.
Maternal-Newborn Nursing Certification-preferred
Minimum of 1 year labour and delivery experience preferred.
Post-partum experience care of mother and baby until discharge preferred.

Job Duties

IV therapy initiation and maintenance (parenteral therapy)

Demonstrates excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Demonstrates understanding and complies with patient and staff safety policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive environment for all.
Commitment to providing an exceptional experience for patients, family and staff.
Good working knowledge of Electronic Documentation
Demonstrated commitment to, and understanding of the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
