POSITION: Elementary Primary Teacher
ASSIGNMENT: Grade 2/3/4. Multi grade classroom, Grade splits are subject to change
FTE: 1.0
LOCATION: Parkland Elementary School
EFFECTIVE DATES: Commencing September 1, 2026 and continuing
Basic Qualifications: A successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch AND possess one or more of the following:
Training Specialization:Elementary Education with specialization at the Primary/Intermediate level
Related Teaching Experience:Recent successful experience teaching at the Primary/Intermediate level
A Reasonable Expectation:based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff.

The annual salary for the full-time Teacher ranges from $64,901 to $116,190 with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. We also offer a competitive benefits package and pension.
