Role overview

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up Brake Presses to specifications.
  • Operate equipment in accordance to all safety procedures.
  • Operate Brake Presses to produce quality products.
  • Read drawings and work instructions.
  • Complete all paperwork/computer entries as required.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions and procedures.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and keep up with the demands of production.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Must be comfortable working with large machinery.
  • Must be able to work in a hot (not temperature controlled), physically demanding environment.
  • Ability to perform all physical requirements for the job, including moderate to heavy lifting up to 50lbs.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Experience operating and setting up brake presses is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of all measuring equipment and tooling.
  • Ability to read drawings and work instructions.
