Carpenters (All Levels – Formwork to Finishing)

Location: Vancouver & Lower Mainland, British Columbia

Wage: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

A Few Good Lads is currently hiring Carpenters of all levels for ongoing projects across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. We are looking for skilled workers with experience in all areas of carpentry, from formwork and framing to finishing and detailed renovation work.

Whether your background is in concrete formwork, rough carpentry, finishing carpentry, or a combination of all three, we want to hear from you. We have a wide variety of projects available, including residential, commercial, and industrial work.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry work ranging from formwork, framing, and structural builds to finishing and detail work
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Measure, cut, and install materials accurately
• Build and strip concrete forms where required
• Install trim, doors, hardware, cabinetry, and other finishing components
• Complete renovation and repair work as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite
• Work closely with supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines

Requirements

• Proven carpentry experience (all levels considered)
• Experience in one or more areas: formwork, framing, finishing, or renovations
• Ability to read plans and work to precise measurements
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Own tools (preferred, depending on role)
• Reliable transportation to job sites across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland
• Strong understanding of site safety practices
• Legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

• Carpenter ticket or apprenticeship experience
• CSTS 2020 & WHMIS 2015
• Fall Protection certification
• Experience in both residential and commercial construction
