The Team
The Port Alberni Court Registry is a team of 8 dedicated professionals, providing essential registry and in -court services to support the justice system. This team plays a critical role in promoting access to justice through its commitment to efficiency, fairness, and service excellence. We value supportive teamwork and a shared dedication to making a meaningful impact in the community ensuring equitable access to justice for all.
The Role
This role provides accessible front-counter court services and supports people navigating legal processes by explaining court documents, answering questions and helping them understand the steps involved. The position also performs quasi-judicial duties, manages court records and registry files, and ensures legal documents and funds held in court are processed accurately, securely and fairly.

This position is part time (0.6 FTE)
This position requires in-person work at one of the physical locations listed.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and/or permanent vacancies.
Enhanced Security Screening will be required.
