Role overview

We are seeking a Cold Caller to make scripted outbound calls to companies in New Jersey, promoting advertising opportunities in newspapers and restaurant placemats. This role pays $20 per hour, starts with five hours as a test, reports directly to the Business Owner, and offers progression to Senior Cold Caller.

Responsibilities

Make scripted outbound calls to restaurants in New Jersey.
Promote newspaper and restaurant placemat advertising opportunities.
Generate qualified leads through effective prospecting.
Target immediate sales outcomes when appropriate.
Communicate advertising benefits clearly and professionally.
Record and follow up on prospect interactions as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in telemarketing, cold calling, lead generation, or sales prospecting.
Strong verbal communication skills.
