The Opportunity:
The National Post is looking for a Foreign Editor to write foreign coverage.

What you’ll do:

Write daily items on the key news stories around the world, drawing on multiple sources to craft compelling and pointed copy.
Editing experience is considered an asset, as the foreign editor may be required to provide editing relief for daily news and feature stories from other teams.

Who you are:

You have a minimum of three years of newsroom experience.
You can work quickly but thoroughly in a fast-paced environment.
You have a demonstrable grasp of current world affairs.
You are able to work independently and make efficient decisions.
You are able to work constructively as part of a remote newsroom team.
You understand the worldview and mission of the National Post.

Compensation:
Employment offers presented to the selected candidate are based on a combination of qualifications, experience, responsibilities of the role and the candidate's location.
Base Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
