Your Role in Supporting Our Members:
As a Business & Commercial Lending Coordinator, you will support the delivery of exceptional member service by preparing loan documentation, administering lending processes, and coordinating funding activities across business and commercial portfolios. You’ll play a key role in ensuring loan applications, renewals, and amendments are processed accurately and efficiently while collaborating closely with internal teams and external solicitors. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality administrative and lending support that enhances the overall member experience
This is a Full-time, Temporaryrole based at Vancity head office and will report directly to the Manager, Administration Community Business. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demands

How You'll Make an Impact:
- Processing business and commercial lending administration transactions including funding, loan maintenance, and payouts in a timely manner
- Preparing accurate security documentation for new loans, amendments, renewals, and interest-related communications
- Funding approved loans and supporting the release of guarantors
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external solicitors regarding documentation, registrations, and funding requirements
- Administering and maintaining loan records, including payments, renewals, draw requests, and CRM actions
- Setting up and maintaining accurate loan data, including proactive monitoring of applications to ensure completeness and timely funding
- Preparing and maintaining reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Processing letters of credit, renewals, and Personal Property Registry requirements
- Applying organizational risk, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements to all lending activities
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Post-secondary education in business administration, finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in lending administration, banking operations, or financial services
- Experience with loan documentation, funding processes, and financial administration
- Strong knowledge of business and commercial lending practices and processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities with high attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners such as solicitors
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and completeness
- Working knowledge of risk management, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements in financial services
Extra Skills That Set You Apart: (if required)
- Experience supporting business or commercial lending portfolios
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lending platforms
- Knowledge of Personal Property Registry (PPR) and letters of credit processes

What You’ll Earn:
This role offers a salary range ofâ¯$55,300 to $68,250 per annum.The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
