POSITION:Senior R&D Technologist REPORTS TO:Director, R&D
We are looking for a Senior R&D Technologistto join our R&D team! Our Senior R&D Technologist will develop new products, conduct research, and experiments, coordinate and execute full-scale production testing, and so much more!

- You are able to conduct technical literature searches; review, analyse, document data, and prepare timely reports

- You are able to work hands on with allergens and baking ingredients
- You are able to lift 12 kg.
- You are flexible to work evenings and weekends to accommodate production testing, when necessary
- You are able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, where necessary
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- You have a Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related disciplines
- You have a good knowledge of experimental design and data analysis
- You have a working knowledge of R&D processes
- You have experience and is proficient in data management and preparing practical technical reports
- You have experience with GDP (Good Documentation Practices)
- You have a working knowledge of the structure and chemistry of food and standard food production processes
- You have a working knowledge of process and products optimization
- You have an understanding food microbiology principles, typical spoilage organisms, and control strategies
- You have solid computer skills including MS Office Suite
EXPERIENCE
- You have 4 years+ of R&D experience in a food production facility, and experience in bakery

- Ability to create and manage databases

Salary - $76,700-94,300
