Role overview

We are hiring an experienced Line Cook to join the kitchen team at the Heart & Crown. Our pubs are fast-paced, lively environments where food quality matters. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about cooking, can handle the heat of a busy kitchen, and works well as part of a team.

What you’ll do

Prepare and cook dishes to order following recipes and procedures
Ensure food is cooked properly and plated with care
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safe at all times
Work closely with FOH staff to provide a seamless dining experience
Contribute to closing and cleaning duties at the end of shifts

What we’re looking for

Strong culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen (preferred)
Ability to stay organized and efficient under pressure

Reliable transportation for late shifts
