Role overview
Position Description:
We are seeking a Power Platform Developer with 5-6 years of experience developing enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and integrations with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure, and REST APIs.
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or client office a minimum of three (3) days per week, subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
- Build and enhance Power Automate cloud flows and desktop flows (RPA).
- Develop end-to-end automation solutions integrating enterprise applications and APIs.
- Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities and recommend optimal solutions.
- Integrate solutions with SharePoint, Dataverse, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, Azure, and third--party applications.
- Develop reusable components, custom connectors, and automation frameworks.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
- Ensure solutions comply with security, governance, and compliance standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and deployment artifacts.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support citizen developers and promote Power Platform best practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience developing Power Platform solutions.
- Hands-on experience with: Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop), Power Automate Desktop (RPA), Dataverse.
- Experience integrating REST APIs, SQL Server, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Azure services.
- Knowledge of Power Fx, JavaScript, JSON, HTML/CSS, and C# is an asset.
- Strong understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), DevOps, and solution deployment.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate.
- Experience with AI Builder, Copilot Studio, or Generative AI integrations.
- Experience with enterprise governance, security, and compliance.
- Familiarity with UiPath or other RPA platforms is an asset.
- Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated environments.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,000-$115,000 CAD. This role is an existing vacancy.
