Production Vehicle Transfer Driver

Langley, BCClearway Car & Truck Rentals is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Production Vehicle Transfer Driver to join our Production team based in Langley.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving a wide variety of vehicles, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and has an excellent eye for detail. While vehicle transfers are a key part of the position, the primary responsibility is ensuring every vehicle is thoroughly inspected, properly documented, clean, and ready for the next customer.

About the Role
As a Production Vehicle Transfer Driver, you will be responsible for driving a variety of rental vehicles—including passenger cars, SUVs, cargo vans, passenger vans, pickup trucks, cube vans, and up to 5-ton trucks—throughout the Fraser Valley, Metro Vancouver, and surrounding areas.Supporting the film industry and our internal operations, you'll help ensure our fleet is delivered safely, professionally, and in exceptional condition.

Primary Responsibilities

Safely transport a wide variety of rental vehicles between Clearway locations, production sites, dealerships, and customers.
Clean and prepare vehicles to Clearway's presentation standards before they go on rent.
Perform detailed vehicle inspections before and after every rental.
Complete thorough video inspections, including videos, photos, odometer, fuel level, and documentation of vehicle condition.
Identify, document, and report any new damage immediately.
Ensure every vehicle is rental-ready, clean, fueled, and equipped before delivery.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle condition and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
Communicate effectively with the Production Lead Team.
Use Google Maps and company systems to plan efficient routes and ensure on-time deliveries.
Drive safely, professionally, and courteously in all driving environments, including Downtown Vancouver.

What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will have:

A valid Class 5 BC Driver's License.
A clean Driver's Abstract.
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Confidence driving a variety of vehicles (experience driving up to 5-ton trucks is an asset but not required).
The ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
The ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
Flexibility to work overtime when operational requirements demand.
A professional attitude with a strong work ethic.

Compensation

Starting at $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
