Concrete Wall Saw Operator - Full Time

Vancouver Concrete Cutting & Coring is seeking skilled and experienced Concrete Saw Cutting Operators who take pride in their craft and are committed to delivering high-quality results. We are looking for professionals with hands-on experience operating Concrete Wall Saws, Core Drills, and Slab Saws in a variety of job-site conditions.

As an experienced operator, you will be responsible for independently executing cutting and coring tasks using specialized equipment while consistently meeting VCC’s high standards for quality, precision, and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of proper cutting techniques, job layout interpretation, equipment operation, and routine maintenance to ensure tools remain in optimal working condition.

Successful candidates will demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Experienced operators are expected to model safe work practices, contribute to job-site coordination, and support less-experienced team members when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate concrete wall saw cutting equipment
• Mark cutting lines and ensure accurate execution of cuts
• Perform concrete cutting for slabs, walls, floors, curbs, and asphalt
• Maintain and inspect saws, blades, and related equipment
• Follow all safety protocols, including PPE and job-site regulations
• Control dust, slurry, and debris during cutting operations
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members
• Load, unload, and transport tools and materials to job sites
• Identify and avoid embedded utilities (rebar, post-tension cables, electrical, plumbing)
• Complete job tasks efficiently while meeting quality standards

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work in confined spaces
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to work around loud noise, dust, and vibration

Preferred Skills

• Experience with wall saws
• Knowledge of rebar and post-tension slab awareness
• Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
