Role overview

Are you looking for a meaningful career? Someone who thrives on solving complex problems, asking the right questions, and thinking a few steps ahead? Let’s put that thinking to work.

Agricorp is looking for a Network Administrator to join our Network & Infrastructure Services Team in the Information Technology division. This team is responsible for providing the appropriate computer networking infrastructure to support Agricorp’s strategic direction.

We believe our employees are our greatest strength, which is why we offer:

  • Comprehensive health and dental benefitsto keep you and your family well
  • Pension planto support your long-term financial security
  • Paid vacation days and sick leaveto support your overall well-being
  • Work-life balancewith supportive leaders who respect your time outside of work
  • Opportunities for learning and growth, including mentoring, coaching, and support for professional development

The Role

The Network Administrator is responsible for the maintenance of Agricorp’s end client systems and servers, ensuring daily availability and integrity of computers and networks. In this role, you will:

  • Administer Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 — account lifecycle, group policy, mailbox configuration, licensing, and operational support across productivity services including Microsoft Teams and connected cloud applications
  • Support user provisioning and deprovisioning, ensuring identity and access are handled accurately and on time
  • Monitor alerts across the enterprise infrastructure monitoring platform, internal automation jobs, and scheduled reporting pipelines — covering performance thresholds, capacity, failed backups, failed scheduled jobs.
  • Receive and resolve escalations from Tier 1 Help Desk — taking ownership of issues that exceed first-line scope, communicating clearly on status and resolution, and closing the loop with the originating team
  • Own the response: act directly where within scope, escalate with context where not — the expectation is resolution, not just acknowledgment
  • Build new virtual machines: OS installation, application deployment, resource configuration, and integration into monitoring
  • Track and manage the OS lifecycle across a large VM estate using automated reporting; plan and execute in-place and side-by-side upgrades to keep systems within supported versions
  • Track and manage the Windows update lifecycle across the VM estate — reviewing patch compliance reports, scheduling and executing updates within defined maintenance windows, and following up on failures
  • Manage vendor support cases end to end: open tickets with sufficient technical context, execute steps as directed by support engineers, monitor response times against SLAs, escalate where needed, and drive cases to resolution without losing track of open items
