The Right Fit

Reporting to the Building Operations Manager, the Maintenance Technician plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of a high-rise office tower. You'll work closely with Building Operators, contractors, tenants, and vendors to complete preventative maintenance, respond to service requests, and keep the property operating at a high standard.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Complete general building maintenance and repairs throughout the property
  • Respond to tenant service requests professionally and efficiently
  • Perform preventative maintenance on building equipment and common areas
  • Coordinate and support outside contractors while work is being completed
  • Assist with seasonal maintenance, inspections, and building projects
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
  • Help ensure the property meets safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support the operations team with day-to-day building needs

What You Bring to the Table

  • Three or more years of commercial property maintenance experience
  • Experience working in a high-rise office, mixed-use, or institutional building is an asset
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience completing general repairs
  • Customer service mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems is an asset
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
  • Building Operator certification or 5th Class Power Engineering is considered an asset, but not required
