Location: Belleville, Ontario

Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation: $27.00–$29.00 per hour

This position is suited to a hands-on production professional with experience operating presses, completing equipment setups and changeovers, and performing quality checks in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Automotive or Tier 1/Tier 2 experience is considered an asset.

What You’ll Do

• Operate and monitor press equipment throughout the production cycle.
• Complete equipment setups, tooling changes, changeovers, and basic adjustments.
• Load materials and remove finished components safely and efficiently.
• Perform first-off and ongoing inspections to confirm part quality.
• Inspect components for dimensions, finish, defects, and specification compliance.
• Use measuring instruments and gauges to complete quality checks.
• Monitor production output, scrap, downtime, and equipment performance.

Identify and escalate tooling, die, equipment, quality, or safety concerns.

• Support basic troubleshooting to minimize production interruptions.
• Complete production records and required documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 5S standards.
• Follow plant safety, quality, and standardized-work requirements.

What You Bring

• Press Operator, Machine Operator, or comparable high-volume production experience.
• Experience operating mechanical, hydraulic, stamping, molding, or comparable production equipment.
• Automotive Tier 1/Tier 2 experience is considered an asset.
• Exposure to presses, dies, tooling, fixtures, setups, or automated production cells.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to recognize equipment or tooling concerns.
• Experience using basic measuring instruments and completing quality checks.
• Ability to read work instructions, production specifications, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Flexibility to support shift-based production requirements.
