HEALTH AND SAFETY COORDINATOR LOCATION: Stoney Creek, ON

INDUSTRY: Civil Construction SALARY RANGE: $60,000-72,000

Permanent, Full Time, In-Office with occasional travel in the Golden Horseshoe / GTA to customer sites (must have driver's license and vehicle for this role)

What Will You Do?

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures
  • Support the coordination of safety training, orientations, and audits
  • Conduct regular inspections and assist in incident investigations
  • Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation in compliance with legislative requirements
  • Collaborate with supervisors and employees to promote a proactive safety culture
  • Assist with WSIB claims, modified work programs, and return-to-work processes

What Do You Bring?

  • Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
  • 2-5 years of health and safety experience in a construction or technical industry
  • Knowledge of Ontario health and safety legislation (OHSA and related regulations)
  • COR experience/knowledge is required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A proactive mindset with a genuine passion for workplace safety
  • Strong computer skills: MS Office, ERP experience is preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record is required
