Receptionist – Part-Time | Calgary, AB – CORE Shopping Centre

$18–$22 per hour + 10% commission on services and products

NIWE Academy is looking for a part-time Receptionist to join our team in downtown Calgary. You’ll be the first point of contact for prospective students, current students, and visitors, helping create a welcoming and professional experience from the moment they arrive.

The Role

You’ll support the day-to-day running of reception while helping prospective students take their first step toward a career in beauty and wellness.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting students, visitors, and prospective students
• Answering phone, email, and walk-in inquiries
• Booking campus tours and sending confirmations and reminders
• Keeping visitor logs, inquiry details, and front desk records up to date
• Directing questions to the appropriate department
• Keeping the reception area organized and presentable
• Supporting the wider team during quieter periods

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be approachable, reliable, and comfortable dealing with people from a wide range of backgrounds.

You will need:

• At least 6 months of reception or front desk experience in beauty, wellness, or education
• At least 6 months of administrative experience
• Weekend availability
• Strong spoken and written English
• Confidence using Microsoft 365 and CRM or booking systems
• Good organization and attention to detail
• A professional approach to confidential information

Experience in admissions, education, or customer service would be an advantage, as would additional language skills.
