Job Description:Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care. Active participation in the model of care that integrates quality improvement principles, lean methodology, best practice, advanced technology and patient family centered care. Responsible for promoting organizational mission, vision and values by providing safe quality nursing care to clients.

  • Experience in quality improvement initiatives

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

  • Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) training
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP)
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
  • Professional Assault Response Training (PART)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
