NOW HIRING – JOURNEYMAN WATER WELL DRILLER

Hopper Water Wells is looking for an experienced Journeyman Water Well Driller to join our team in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

We’re looking for someone who knows the industry, takes pride in their work, and can confidently operate a drilling rig and complete water well projects safely and efficiently.

The Role

As a Journeyman Water Well Driller, you’ll be responsible for water well drilling, pre-drill for pile install and related field operations throughout Grande Prairie and the surrounding Peace Country.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate and maintain water well drilling equipment and service trucks
• Drill and complete residential, agricultural, commercial and industrial water wells
• Install water treatment systems
• Pre-Drill for Pile Install
• Install casing, screens and related well components
• Well servicing, diagnosis, analysis and troubleshooting
• Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Maintain accurate drilling and job records
• Follow company and industry safety requirements
• Work effectively with customers, crew members and management

What We're Looking For

• Journeyman Water Well Driller certification for Alberta
• Previous water well drilling experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment knowledge
• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver's license with a clean/acceptable driver's abstract
• Ability to work independently and lead a drilling crew
• Strong understanding of safe drilling practices
• Oil & gas related safety tickets (First Aid, H2S, Ground Disturbance, CSO)
