Are
you an accounting professional who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and
continuous improvement? Coast Claims Insurance Services is seeking a General
Accountant to join our Finance. In this role, you'll be involved in all aspects
of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, bank reconciliations,
financial reporting, month-end processes, and payment administration.

This
is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to expand their accounting
experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. While this position
is being recruited as a temporary job, there may be future opportunities within
the organization for the successful candidate.

What You'll Do

As
a General Accountant, you will support the day-to-day accounting operations of
a growing organization by ensuring accurate financial records, timely payment
processing, and reliable financial reporting.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Processing

invoices, vendor payments, expense allocations, and account
reconciliations.

• Managing

daily banking activities, deposits, and bank reconciliations.

• Preparing

journal entries, maintaining general ledger accounts, and supporting
financial reporting.

• Assisting

with month-end and year-end close processes, audits, and financial
analysis.

• Processing

adjuster and contractor payments and supporting commission
reconciliations.

• Identifying

opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies.

• Collaborating

with internal teams to provide accurate financial information and support
business operations

role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys a variety of
responsibilities, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a
collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Bring

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
