Job Description:Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the pre-operative unit, day surgery & post anaesthesia care unit.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Nursing diploma is acceptable

Knowledge and Abilities

Knowledge of care in Pre-Operative Unit/Day Surgery/Post Anesthesia Care Units
Desirable to possess a knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques
