Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a BI Reporting Analyst.
We're looking for a Senior Marketing Data Scientist to help transform how we measure, optimize, and scale marketing investments across the customer lifecycle. In this role, you'll partner closely with Marketing, Product, Finance, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams to deliver actionable insights that drive Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and improve business outcomes. You'll bring deep expertise in marketing measurement, experimentation, attribution, and econometric modeling to solve complex business problems. You are equally comfortable diving into data, building scalable measurement solutions, and influencing senior leaders through clear, data-driven recommendations. You'll also help evolve our marketing analytics capabilities by leveraging AI-powered tools and modern data science techniques.
Responsibilities
- Lead measurement and analytics for GTM initiatives across Paid Search, Organic Search, Display, Social, CRM, and other digital marketing channels, providing insights and recommendations that optimize marketing investment and business performance.
- Partner with Marketing, Data Engineering, Product Analytics, and external agencies to build and enhance scalable marketing data foundations, reporting layers, and automated analytics solutions.
- Design and execute robust measurement strategies, including A/B testing, incrementality testing, geo lift studies, conversion lift, and causal analyses to quantify the true business impact of marketing investments.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to develop and evolve Media Mix Models (MMM), translating model outputs into actionable recommendations for budget allocation and long-term investment planning.
- Develop and apply attribution methodologies, including last-touch and multi-touch attribution, while understanding their strengths, limitations, and appropriate business applications in an increasingly privacy-first ecosystem.
- Build forecasting models to predict channel performance, customer acquisition, revenue, and marketing efficiency, supporting annual planning and investment decisions.
- Define measurement frameworks, instrumentation requirements, and success metrics for new campaigns, product launches, and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with Lifecycle Marketing and CRM teams to measure customer journeys, email performance, retention initiatives, and customer engagement.
- Measure and optimize organic acquisition strategies across SEO while helping shape measurement approaches for emerging search experiences, including Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
- Translate complex analyses into clear, concise recommendations that influence senior leaders and drive business decisions, even when data is incomplete or evolving.
- Champion automation, scalable analytics solutions, and continuous improvement across marketing measurement processes.
Requirement:
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics, Marketing Data Science, Growth Analytics, Digital Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong expertise in marketing measurement, experimentation, and statistical analysis, including A/B testing, incrementality testing, geo lift studies, causal inference, and experimental design.
- Experience developing or partnering on Media Mix Modeling (MMM) and applying attribution methodologies such as last-touch and multi-touch attribution to optimize marketing performance.
- Experience building forecasting models and using advanced analytical techniques to support marketing planning and investment decisions.
- Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in Python and/or R for analytics, statistical modeling, and automation.
- Experience with digital analytics and marketing platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics (GA4), Braze, Segment, Google Ads, Meta Ads, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of digital instrumentation, tagging, event tracking, and marketing data architecture.
- Familiarity with SEO measurement and evolving search paradigms, including GEO and AEO.
- Experience building scalable dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar BI tools.
- Proven ability to simplify complex analyses into compelling stories that influence technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated curiosity and a growth mindset, with experience leveraging modern AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies to accelerate analytics, coding, experimentation, and insight generation.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree preferred
