Job Description: Under the direction of the program area manager, as applicable, and as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Social Worker BSW provides a range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case coordination services to a primarily adult community mental health and addiction population.

Ability to prepare reports in a clear, concise and timely manner.
Ability to provide public/educational presentations
Knowledge and practical application of the Mental Health Services Act and Health Information Protection Act and other legislation
Able to work independently in a self motivated manner & respond under pressure
Knowledge in various intervention strategies for individuals and groups
Ability to identify, implement & evaluate areas of client difficulty
Knowledge of Recovery Philosophy
