About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Business Development Representative to drive our outbound growth strategy during this scaling phase. This is a role for someone who has already mastered the fundamentals of prospecting and qualification and is ready to operate with greater autonomy and take on more complex accounts.
This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to level up their career, with a clear growth path toward an Account Executive role. As an individual contributor, you will focus on refining your consultative sales expertise and assuming broader responsibility over the pipeline.
You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and advancing new business opportunities by positioning Creator’s platform to brands and marketing teams.
You will run discovery conversations and early-stage demos, building a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities for the sales team. This role requires a high level of ownership, independence, and sales judgment.
You’ll work closely with sales, product, and marketing to ensure strong lead qualification and clean handoffs, contributing to a high-quality pipeline and faster revenue growth as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own outbound strategy for a defined set of target accounts, including net-new prospecting via email, phone, and LinkedIn
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads with strong prioritization and sales judgment
- Run discovery calls and early-stage product demos
- Design and refine multi-touch outbound sequences, testing and iterating on messaging
- Clearly communicate value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Maintain accurate pipeline in Salesforce and contribute to forecasting accuracy
- Partner with AEs to ensure high-quality handoffs and improve close rates
- Stay ahead of SaaS trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs, and share insights with the broader team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of B2B sales or business development within a SaaS or technology company
- Proven experience selling a software platform
- Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding pipeline generation targets through outbound prospecting
- Experience running discovery calls and demos with senior decision-makers
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and communication skills
- Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce) and tools like Apollo
- Highly self-motivated, comfortable operating with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment
- Experience selling into marketing teams or working with marketing stakeholders

- Exposure to marketing, influencer, or digital media industries
- Experience running full product demos

Compensation Range:
We offer a starting salary of $62,000-75,000 CAD + commission
