Tandem Truck Driver

What you will be required to do:

• Pre-trip/Post trip inspections.
• Hauling material to job site.
• Hauling Asphalt from Plant to job site.
• Responsible for tarping and securing loads.
• Maintain vehicle in a clean, organized and safe fashion.
• Shift work (Day/Night shift) Seasonal.
• Weekend work required.
• Overtime required.

What we are looking for:

• Responsible, safe and dependable drivers.
• Class 3 License with air endorsement.
• Drive Manual or Automatic Transmission.
• 2 year Heavy Truck experience.
• Dump Truck Experience.
• Asphalt Experience ( considered an asset).
• Able to operate loader considered an asset).
• Problem solving/ Work Independently.
• Basic Mechanical Knowledge.
• Available to work Weekends as needed.
• Able to work overtime.
• Team player.
• Follow instructions from dispatcher.
• Navigate to job sites.
• Driver Abstract required.
• Criminal record check required.
• Wage negotiable - dependent on experience.
