Job Title: Facility Trade Associate

Reports To: Facility Maintenance Coordinator

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Note: The following is not all-inclusive. Business
conditions change and develop, as well as the individual develops requiring
flexibility, straight forward communication, and forward thinking to prepare
and adapt to change. The individual is expected to grow within these guidelines
focusing on excellence within the role. You work in a friendly and courteous
manner providing an accurate flow of communication (Both internal and external)

This will prepare the individual for potential future
positions as the business needs require and the individual demonstrates their
contribution and potential.

Your position is responsible for providing professional and
dependable service and developing our team’s capability to deliver JEC’s key
objectives to all our customers and suppliers. You will have a complete
understanding of all customer/supplier requirements.

Your understanding of JEC’s Business Management System
Manual, the associated BMS policies, processes, and their interaction is
imperative. A commitment to JEC’s philosophy of Safety, Morale, Quality, Cost,
Delivery & Environment is a requirement.

This role will be measured against specific targets as noted
in the departmental business plan.

SUMMARY

Responsible for industrial maintenance of our facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Installs, repairs, and
maintains machinery and mechanical equipment that is part of JEC facilities
infrastructure by completing PM and DM activities.

· Keep Standard Operating
Procedures (SOP) up to date on facilities, equipment, and process.

· Maintain the plants interior
and exterior which include lighting, electrical fixtures, plumbing fixtures,
and appearance of the overall facility.

· Arrangement/installation of
domestic and production electrical distribution, plumbing, production
equipment, HVAC and small renovations projects on plant floor and common/office
space in plant. Which includes coordination and support of outside contractors
working across the plant.

· Leading facility projects

· Troubleshoot daily facilities
technical issues.

· Other duties may be assigned.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

Use professionalism when dealing with JEC associates,
service providers, and contractors.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Electrician (309A or 442A), Millwright (433A) or Plumber
holding (306A) a Certificate of Qualification from Skilled Trades Ontario or
equivalent. Asset to have experience in facilities maintenance including HVAC.

Understanding general machining and Fabrication Principles
is an asset. Practical experience in MIG, TIG, or ARC welding, familiarity with
hand and shop tools such as lathes, saws, mills etc. are an asset.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts,
and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of
technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several
abstract and concrete variables.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety
rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability
to draft routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively
before groups of customers or associates of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,
interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and
volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have
knowledge of Manufacturing software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet
software and Word Processing software.
