Role overview

River Street Endodontics is a boutique specialty clinic in the Corktown Area. We are seeking a part-time dental assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should be reliable, kind, and possess strong work ethic and a passion for learning, endodontics, and patient-care.
Qualifications:

Level I and Level II Diploma.
IPAC, CPR and WHMIS up-to-date.
Live in the downtown core or within reasonable commute.
Provincial Certification required for a long-term position.
Excellent communication and strong organization skills.
Understanding of IPAC and sterilization procedures.
Confident using a computer including email and dental software.

Responsibilities:

Prepare instruments and materials.
Sterilize equipment and maintain IPAC standards.
Take diagnostic endodontic radiographs including shift shots and position patient for CBCT.
Transcribe doctor notes and sent out post op letters and scans.
Manage inventory and ordering.
Keep clinical areas organized and clean.
Complete comfort calls and assist admins when there are no patients.

Compensation:$22-25/HR to start. Health Spending Account, Scrubs provided, and 3 paid sick days. Hourly compensation to be evaluated after the probationary period.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 9-6:30 pmPart-time with the flexibility to grow into a full time position once trained.
