ABOUT WILLIAMS LAKE FIRST NATION (WLFN)
The Williams Lake First Nation (WLFN), or the T’exelcemc (people of WLFN) have belonged to the Secwepemc (or Shuswap) Nation for over 6500 years. POSITION
The Early Childhood Education Assistant / Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily operations of Little Chiefs Daycare by coordinating early childhood education services and administrative functions. This role ensures a safe, organized, and nurturing environment for children while maintaining compliance with licensing regulations and organizational policies.
The position works collaboratively with staff, families, and the community to deliver quality care and educational programming. In addition, the role provides administrative support including record keeping, communication, and operational coordination to ensure the efficient functioning of the daycare. The Early Childhood Education/Administrative Assistant will be reporting to Early Childhood Education Supervisor.
Employment Type
Full time, permanent, 35 hours per week.
Probation Period
3 months from the date of hire.
