Sr Financial Planning Reporting Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning forecasting budgeting and reporting activities providing timely and accurate analysis insights and recommendations to support business decision making
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends risks opportunities and key business drivers translating complex information into clear executive ready narratives and actionable recommendations
  • Act as a trusted finance partner demonstrating strong critical thinking ownership and accountability in resolving issues managing priorities and driving outcomes
  • Support portfolio and project financial management by developing an understanding of vendor contracts funding arrangements and financial commitments and coordinating investigations and stakeholder inquiries related to contract and vendor financial matters
  • Develop maintain and enhance financial dashboards reports and performance metrics ensuring data accuracy reporting integrity and an optimal stakeholder experience
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve reporting efficiency partnering with technology and automation teams to design and implement sustainable solutions
  • Utilize advanced Excel data analytics and visualization tools to perform financial modeling forecasting scenario analysis and management reporting
  • Build strong relationships across Finance Technology Procurement Vendor Management and Business teams to support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment on financial objectives
  • Continuously challenge existing processes and recommend improvements that enhance controls efficiency data quality and decision making capabilities
  • Work independently in a fast paced environment applying sound judgment to manage complex assignments solve problems and deliver high quality results

Qualifications

  • Typically between 4 -6 years of relevant experience and postsecondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Completed or near completion of an accounting designation
  • Technical proficiency gained through education and or business experience
