As the Hospitality Services Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the success of our food and beverage operations by coordinating inventory management, training programs, operational standards, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with culinary, front-of-house, and events teams, you will help ensure our hospitality operations run efficiently, consistently, and to the highest standards.

Your Role

The Hospitality Services Coordinator supports the day-to-day operational effectiveness of RRC Hospitality Services by coordinating inventory controls, onboarding and training programs, operational standards, policy compliance, and service execution across food and beverage operations.

Working closely with kitchen, front-of-house and events teams, this role is responsible for supporting systems, processes, and standards, playing a key role in improving operational efficiency and ensuring teams have the tools, training, and resources required to succeed.

Your Impact

• Develop, maintain, and update operational policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Coordinate inventory management processes across hospitality operations.

• Complete and support regular inventory counts and reconciliations.

• Maintain inventory tracking systems and reporting tools.

• Assist with food and beverage cost analysis and variance reporting.

• Support recipe costing, menu costing, and product standardization initiatives.

• Work with culinary and operational teams to identify waste reduction and cost-saving opportunities.

• Coordinate onboarding programs for new hospitality employees.

• Maintain training materials, operational manuals, and departmental resources.

• Track employee training completion and competency requirements.

• Prepare and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.

• Track key performance indicators related to labour, inventory, food cost, training compliance, and service delivery.

• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.

• Assist with the administration of the Asset Management Program and preventative maintenance scheduling.

• Monitor asset performance and maintenance requirements to support operational reliability.

• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to support exceptional guest experiences, maintain food and beverage quality standards, and ensure operational consistency.

• All other duties as assigned by the Manager, Hospitality Services.

Your Accomplishments

• Food Safety Certification

• WHIMIS Certification

• First Aid/CPR/AED Certification

• Pro Serve Certification

• Protect Certification

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in hospitality, food and beverage, catering, banquet, restaurant, or event operations.

• Completion of Hospitality Management program from an accredited college or university is considered an asset

• Strong understanding of hospitality and food service operations.

• Knowledge of inventory management, food costing, and operational reporting.

• Ability to develop and document procedures and training materials.

• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality management systems.

• Ability to analyze operational data and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.

Other Requirements

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

• Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector check

Working Conditions

• This is a full time position that is not limited to only days but also including evenings and weekends as required.

• The work environment is a standard office and lounge setting requiring the use of office equipment, food preparation and storage equipment.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work in outside weather conditions. The noises level in the work environment is moderate- loud.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit, talk, or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

• The employee may occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

• This position may require travel between our various facilities within the Wood Buffalo Region. Access to reliable transportation is necessary.
