Graphic Designer and Marketing Technicians

Regular Full-time

Working Location Can be any COTR Campus

Duties:Reporting to the Director, Marketing Communications and Donor Relations, this position is responsible for the corporate visual identity of the College of the Rockies. This role involves conceptualizing and implementing professional design solutions that meet communications, advertising, and institutional branding objectives. Acting as creative lead on various projects, the position provides technical expertise and creative direction to ensure all materials meet established deadlines, technical standards and brand guidelines.

Qualifications: Grade 12 education supplemented by two years of post-secondary studies in Graphic Design, with additional coursework in Marketing and Communications considered an asset, and a minimum of four years of related experience. The successful candidate will possess a strong artistic and creative vision, expert design and production skills, and demonstrated knowledge of design theory, colour theory, typography, photography, marketing, communications, and public relations principles. Proficiency in print and digital design is required, including web graphics, electronic media, pagination, layout, four-colour and Pantone printing, prepress processes, and file management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing demands, meet strict deadlines, and perform effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment

Salary: Position #115

CUPE Pay Level 5 with a starting wage of $50,468.60 per year with increments progressing to Step 5 as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
