About the Role:

We're looking for a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Brand Partnerships team.

You'll play a key role in generating new business by identifying and engaging prospective brands through outbound prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and building relationships with potential customers.

You'll be responsible for developing thoughtful outbound strategies to engage our ideal Brand Partners, ranging from high-growth startups to enterprise organizations across Beauty, Health & Wellness, Parenting, Fashion, Pets, Fitness, Technology, and other consumer brands.

This role is ideal for someone with early SaaS sales experience who enjoys hunting for new business, thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, and wants to build a successful career in technology sales. You'll work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to help grow Creator's customer base while developing your consultative selling skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect and engage net-new brands through outbound email, phone, LinkedIn, and other prospecting channels.
• Generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, discovery conversations, and lead qualification.
• Qualify inbound opportunities and identify client needs through consultative conversations.
• Build and execute personalized outbound sequences while continuously refining messaging and outreach strategies.
• Develop a strong understanding of Creator's platform, the creator economy, and how our solution helps brands scale influencer and affiliate marketing programs.
• Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure high-quality handoffs and a seamless customer experience.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and activity data in Salesforce.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to support revenue growth.
• Stay informed on industry trends and position yourself as a trusted advisor within the influencer marketing and SaaS landscape.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of Business Development or B2B Sales experience within a SaaS or technology company.
• Experience prospecting through outbound channels, including email, phone, and LinkedIn.
• Experience qualifying leads and conducting discovery conversations.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
• Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform.

Nice to Have:

• Experience selling SaaS or Martech solutions.
• Experience selling to marketing teams or marketing stakeholders.
• Experience with Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar prospecting tools.
• Interest in influencer marketing, digital marketing, or the creator economy.
• Desire to grow into an Account Executive role over time.

Compensation Range:

We offer a starting annual salary of $50,000-68,000 CAD + commission
