Your role at GEI. GEI is seeking an AI Engineer Intern/Co-op to support the growth of GEI’s AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) and broader digital transformation initiatives across GEI. This role is designed for students interested in applied artificial intelligence, automation, and enterprise AI adoption. The AI Engineer Intern/Co-op will support lightweight AI engineering, workflow automation, AI enablement, and operational support activities that help scale AI capabilities across the organization. Working alongside GEI’s AI engineering and digital solutions teams, this role will help support AI-enabled workflows, reusable tools, prompt-based solutions, and internal operational initiatives leveraging modern AI platforms and copilots. This position offers hands-on exposure to real-world enterprise AI implementation within the engineering, environmental and infrastructure industry, including AI-enabled operational workflows, automation, and next-generation digital delivery. The role is intentionally structured with flexible year-round scheduling to support academic commitments while providing students meaningful applied AI engineering experience.
