WHAT ARE THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB?
Revenue Growth & Commercial Performance
- Drive revenue growth and market share expansion across Western Canada while contributing to national sales objectives.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with national commercial goals.
- Establish clear territory coverage strategies and performance expectations.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.
- Monitor margin performance and implement corrective actions when required.
Sales Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop a team of Territory Sales Managers.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
- Establish clear performance metrics and hold the team accountable for results.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and leadership development initiatives.
- Build a culture of disciplined territory planning and execution.
Market Development & Education
- Collaborate with marketing and clinical education teams to align educational programs with sales growth initiatives.
- Support study clubs, surgical training programs, and professional conferences that drive clinical adoption.
- Strengthen relationships with universities, dental specialists, and key opinion leaders.
Strategic Partnerships & Key Accounts
- Maintain executive-level relationships with DSOs, dealer partners, and strategic accounts.
- Identify opportunities to expand partnerships and grow national distribution channels.
- Support pricing strategies and commercial initiatives designed to protect margin integrity.
Operational Leadership
- Implement best practices in CRM usage, forecasting discipline, and reporting standards.
- Establish territory management frameworks that support effective account coverage.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on national expansion and commercial planning initiatives.
RequirementsWHAT DOES THE IDEAL CANDIDATE OFFER?
Education & Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or a related discipline.
- Advanced leadership or business education is considered an asset.
Work Experience & Accomplishments
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience managing regional or multi-provincial teams.
- 5+ years of direct dental sales experience, ideally within dental implants.
- Demonstrated success in driving sustained revenue growth and improving margin performance.
- Track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian dental marketplace, including DSOs, independent practices, and dealer networks.
Skills & Competencies
- Strategic leadership with strong operational execution.
- Proven ability to coach and develop experienced sales professionals.
- Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management.
