Job Description:
Position Summary

  • The IMAC Team Lead is responsible for leading the daily operations of the IMAC team. This role oversees desktop deployment activities, hardware refreshes, workstation installations, relocations, asset management, and technical support.
  • The Team Lead provides technical leadership, coordinates field resources, acts as the primary escalation point, and works closely with project managers, clinical stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and service desk personnel to ensure successful delivery of IMAC projects.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily activities of IMAC technicians.
  • Schedule and assign installation, move, add, and change requests.
  • Coordinate large-scale PC refresh and deployment projects.
  • Perform complex desktop installations and hardware replacements.
  • Oversee workstation imaging and software deployments.
  • Ensure accurate asset tracking and inventory management.
  • Monitor work queues and meet SLA commitments.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to technicians.
  • Troubleshoot escalated hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
  • Coordinate with clinical departments to minimize operational disruption.
  • Maintain deployment documentation and project status reports.
  • Participate in planning meetings for upcoming rollouts.
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare security and operational procedures.

Top 3 Must-Have Skills / Requirements

  • 5+ years of desktop support, IMAC, or field services experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Experience leading large-scale Windows device deployments and hardware refresh projects in an enterprise environment.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, SCCM/MECM (or Intune), hardware deployment, asset management, and troubleshooting.
