Project Manager

SSA Group is working on a confidential search for an established general contractor based in Surrey. The company delivers commercial, institutional and community buildings across British Columbia and has a steady pipeline of work ahead.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ICI projects from preconstruction through construction and closeout
• Support estimating with budgets, scope and constructability reviews
• Oversee early works including site clearing, servicing and foundations
• Build and manage schedules and budgets, tracking cost and change
• Act as main point of contact for clients, consultants and stakeholders
• Procure and manage trade partners
• Work closely with the Site Superintendent on sequencing, quality and safety
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, progress billing and deficiencies

What They're Looking For

• Project Manager experience on ground up commercial, institutional or public sector buildings
• Solid understanding of foundations, concrete and structural steel
• A track record of taking projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Comfortable working with municipal clients and consultants
• Willing to travel to project sites across BC
• Valid driver's licence
