Bookkeeper (SAP Business One)

Location: St. Catharines, Ontario (Hybrid/In-Office Preferred)

Compensation: $45-$55 per hour (Contract)
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week

We're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper who has hands-on experience with SAP Business One and enjoys working in a fast-paced, growing business.

We're specifically looking for someone who can confidently work within SAP Business One and help support our day-to-day accounting operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Fractional CFO and working closely with our leadership team, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and helping ensure the smooth operation of our accounting functions.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, highly organized, and enjoys solving problems while improving financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Daily bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Bank, credit card, and payment reconciliations
• SAP Business One data entry and maintenance
• Month-end and year-end reconciliations
• Journal entries and account reconciliations
• Inventory and cost of goods support
• HST reporting and remittances
• Payroll support and related reconciliations
• Preparation of financial reports and supporting schedules
• Support month-end close with the Fractional CFO
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and accuracy
• Support audits and external accounting requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience
• Hands-on experience using SAP Business One (required)
• Strong understanding of Canadian accounting principles
• Experience working within an inventory-based business is an asset
• Advanced Excel skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Strong communication skills
